Xanat Guiot is a Vancouver-based blogger and Public Relations Consultant. Originally from Mexico, she used to work full-time as a PR Account Supervisor for global brands, such as P&G and Danone, before becoming a mom and moving to Canada three years ago.
Xanat has always loved to write, so when she came to Canada, she saw a great opportunity to create a blog called LatinMomTips where she shares her own journey as a first time mom living in a new Country; this project has also helped her to meet other moms and make new friends as part of her adaptation process.
Aside from the blog, Xan founded a Facebook group for Latin moms in BC called ‘Circulo de Familias Latinas en BC’. It started with just 5 members, and now the online community has reached more than 2,000 members, where not only moms but also dads (even grandparents!), can share, ask and trade valuable information, and they can also connect and meet in a space created for them.
When she is not taking care of her baby boy, she’s is blogging or doing volunteer work at the YWCA.

Kim Thé is an entrepreneur in the field of arts and entertainment for young audiences. After a decade of working in marketing, PR and communications in the non-profit, government and corporate sectors, Kim realized she wouldn’t fulfill her full potential until she could be her own boss. While working full-time, Kim worked on the side informally as an artist manager for her husband, popular children’s entertainer Will Stroet. After five years of performing while teaching, Will eventually left teaching to pursue a full-time career in kids music and television. Soon after in 2012, Kim incorporated Pebble Star Productions after helping land a multi-year television deal for Will’s Jams on CBC Kids.
After having success booking Will for more than 1,000 shows across the country, Kim decided to form her own artist management and talent booking agency called Pebble Star Artists, featuring the best in family-friendly entertainment.
She books artists into theatres, festivals, community and corporate events across Canada and internationally, while working closely with presenters, media and social media influencers to build artists’ careers and brands.
Kim manages all of Pebble Star’s other lines of business including music publishing, event management, touring and concert promotion.
